輻射層輪胎結構輕量化對滾動阻力影響之模擬分析

The Numerical Simulation of the Effect of Weight Reduction to the Rolling Resistance of Radial Tires

摘要


本研究主要討論輪胎輕量化對滾動阻力之影響,例如改變原況輪胎之胎肩厚度以及帶束層厚度,而不改變胎面之厚度及所有橡膠材料和加強材之材料參數,且在相同邊界條件下分析輕量化輪胎的力學特性以及其滾動阻力。首先應用電腦輔助工程分析(computer aidedengineering ,CAE),建立輕量化輻射層輪胎205/55R16之有限元素模型,考慮輪胎橡膠材料非線性、幾何非線性與接觸非線性等因素,分析輕量化輪胎荷重接地後之加強材靜態應力分佈、橫向剛性、徑向剛性並分析滾動阻力;接著,將以原況輪胎模型以及輕量化輪胎模型,相互比較其輕量化輪胎對滾動阻力影響。

This study focuses on the effect of the weight reduction to the rolling resistance for radial tires, for example, changing the original tire’s thickness of sidewall and belt layer, and the thickness of tread and parameters of all rubber materials and rebar layers remain the same. And the analyses were carried out with same boundary conditions to study the effect of weight reduction on rolling resistance. First, the finite element model of 205/55R16 radial tires with and without weight reduction were created. The tire rubber material is considered as nonlinear, and geometric nonlinearity, contact nonlinear and other factors were also considered. Then the static stress distribution of rebar with loading was computed. Lateral, radial stiffness and rolling resistance were also calculated. And the effect of weight reduction on the rolling resistance can be derived from these computation results.
