Hydrofluoric Acid Burns (A Case Report ant Review of Literature)
氟氫酸之灼傷
摘要
氟氫酸是一種極強的酸，通常被廣泛運用在工業中金屬與玻璃的蝕鏤之用和學術研究。其與他種強酸不同之處在於與皮膚接觸後，氟離子易穿透皮膚，造成深層組織甚至骨骼的破壞。在此，我們介紹一個遭受氟氫酸潑及眼、臉部及前側軀幹，二至三度，百分之十五體表面積的灼傷個案。在評估病人時，其職業史與物理檢查是重要的考慮因素，適切的治療將使病人減輕疼痛並有良好的臨床結果；若延誤治療，可能造成永久性傷害甚至死亡。

Hydrofluoric acid, one of the strongest inorganic acid, is used extensively in industry and research. It differs from other acids in that the fluoride ion readily penetrates the skin and causes destruction of deep tissue layers, including bony decalcification. We herein present a case report, suffering from a hydrofluoric acid splashing injury with eye involvement and Ⅱ-Ⅲ degree burn to 15% of the total body surface area. Accurate occupational history taking and physical examination are important to parient assessment. Prompt teratment results in relief of pain and satisfactory outcome, whereas a significant delay in treatment will end up with permanent injury or even death.
