多元智能理論在國小英語教學運用之個案研究

The Applications of Multiple Intelligences Theory to English Teaching - A Case Study of An Elementary School

摘要


這篇研究的研究目的在於了解多元智能理論應用於國小英語教學之情形,探討多元智能理論對該校英語教學之啓示與影響,並探究該校學生之學習背景及對英語學習的看法。研究結果發現多元智能理論運用在國小英語教學,的確可以協助教師有效規劃英語專用教室,並協助教材教法之使用,進而啓迪學生的學習興趣,發展多元智能。研究者並依研究結果提出建議供學校、教育人員及教育當局實施英語教學之參考。

The purpose of this research was to realize the applications of multiple intelligences theory to the English teaching of an elementary school in Taiwan. Besides, the students' learning backgrounds and their opinions of the English teaching were explored. The results showed that the applications of Multiple Intelligences to the English teaching did help the English teacher design the English classroom efficiently and make the English learning more interesting. According to the results of this research, the researcher made some suggestions about the English teaching in the elementary schools in Taiwan.
