Find out Children's Interesting in Math-An Action Research of the Third Circle service-learning in after-school Mathematics Program in Primary School

摘要


研究者將「針對國小學童實施數學課後輔導」的服務做為「數學科教材教法」課程的一部分,實施「服務學習做為課程一部分」類型的服務學習,同時進行行動研究。本文係依據第三次行動循環的資料分析,結果發現:1.經由前二次的行動經驗,本次設計與實施的課輔活動受到學童的喜愛,而學童在課輔後數學正式課程得分和課堂表現的進步達顯著差異,其不喜歡數學的比率也有降低。2.接受課輔的學童及其級任教師與師資生對數學教學的看法偏於建構主義取向,但級任教師及師資生對「建構數學理念」一詞經常不表示意見,多數人對應多了解建構理念的應用並落實建構理念持保留態度。3.師資生自我評估本次服務學習最主要的收穫在更了解班級經營的重要、數學的教學以及小朋的數學認知程度。而師資生的反省札記也提出了許多改善本項服務學習方案的建議。

This study tries to employ service-leaning in after-school Mathematics program in primary school as an action research to understand the learning effects for children and pre-service teachers, and to obtain the suggestions for this service program, and to survey the opinions 011 teaching Mathematics from children, their teachers and pre-service teachers. The data come from the survey and the reflective notes of pre-service teachers, the survey of children, and their teachers' observational records. The results of this study include: 1. Based 011 two previous experiences, this service program is popular with children. The math test scores of these children have been improved at significant difference in paired-sample T test. The number of children who dislike Mathematics also reduces. 2. Although teachers and pre-service teachers prefer to the ideas and strategies of teaching Mathematics about constructivism, there are still some doubts at the 'constrictive Mathematics' item. 3. The self-evaluation for this service program helps to learn the importance of classroom management, teaching Mathematic and the cognitive degree on Mathematics of children by pre-service teachers. Otherwise, some suggestions from pre-service teachers will improve this service program.
