軟體藝術之美學與創作思維探討

A Study on the Aesthetics and Creative Thinking of Software Art

摘要


本文以文獻分析爲主要研究方式,結合案例探討的輔助,將軟體藝術的運算美學由概念的定義開始整理,再以年代事件爲主軸洞悉其發展脈絡。根據文獻的分析以及各年代菁華案例的深入探討,作者群們歸納分析軟體藝術所具備的重複性、隨機性、有機性、演算性以及異質性等美學特性,希冀爲長期處於混沌狀態的軟體藝術形態辯證藝術現象的大我價值。除此之外,根據研究結果的觀察,軟體藝術在創作思維的考量也有其獨到的特質。當程式做爲藝術媒材的表現時,可觸及性的過程靈感必須剔除,創作過程的動詞性也轉爲虛擬的構思,而獨一無二的藝術價值也成爲運算過程點、線、面的構成。如此的創作思維雖然讓軟體藝術家的角色開始混淆,但其共創、開放、包含與融合的創作特質卻也逐步明朗這新形態的web 2.0藝術現象?

The commentary of this paper begins from the definition concepts of computing software arts and its yearly highlighted events, in order to have an insight into its context development. The main methodologies being carried out for the whole research were content analysis and case study. According to a literature review as well as on the study of each year highlighted art works and events between the year 2001 and year 2009, researchers have summarized and analyzed the approaches to the five aesthetical characteristics of the software arts, which are: Reiteration, Randomness, Organization, Calculation, and Heterogeneity, in attempting to develop a greater value of software arts and to emerge a creative rule from its chaos phenomenon. In addition, based on a study observation from the research process and its outcome, software art has its own uniqueness and consideration in the art of creative thinking when artists are doing creative works. There are three unique characteristics of creative software arts. Firstly, while coding as a material for art creation, the touchable experience through the course of inspiration has to be eliminated. Secondly, the verbal process of art creation has to be converted into a virtual mapping composition. Thirdly, the uniqueness of artistic ideas and value have shifted into the composition process of Point and Line to Plane. While such creative thinking affects and confuses the role of an artist, the creativity and integration characteristics of the collative art works have formed and constructed gradually a new form of art phenomenon in the age of Web 2.0.
