數位科技因近年來的演化與進步,滲透到我們的日常生活中,也影響了我們的感官經驗或思維模式。 本創作先探討早期電腦藝術的歷史與演化,及蒐集相關創作作品瞭解當時的藝術呈現,運用電腦藝術所延伸的衍生美學作為創作的技術,以簡單視覺為數據表現,將電腦藝術與複合媒材概念轉換結合。 此系列創作手法與延伸範圍皆為不同,嘗試了各種呈現的形態。 本創作目的為:1. 對於程式運算圖像造型的領域中,蒐集歸納並分析瞭解其相關法則。2. 以程式運算為創作的技術手法,將作品概念轉化 。3. 將程式運算後的圖像以視覺化等手法呈現。4. 歸納出運算方法與視覺呈現間的關係,供後者需要使用。 創作作品分為三大項,利用程式演算為創作的媒介,以循序漸進的方式,轉化呈現從平面延伸至立體,再結合平面與立體兩者。在創作後作品歸納出程式運算的模式有:1.程式運算模式2.程式運用方式3.程式演算延伸發展。
The result of the evaluated digital technology unavoidably diffused to every corner of our daily life and affected deeply both our senses & minds and gradually starting to catch the awareness by artists. This series of creative works was made by firstly evaluating the migration of The Digital Art, gathering & analyzing early works of such in artistic expression. Further elaborating the ideas by making use of the generative characteristic in the nowadays technology standard. The works make use of minimal, simple visual elements as the basic unit to represent the data generated or by the algorithm, i.e. the perspective in translating data, medium, material and most importantly the ideas. Due to the above urges in the creations, the format of the works is varied in artistic execution, perspectives, approaches and forms of expression.The goals in this process were: 1. gather and analyzed the different algorithms in artistic expression 2. write custom programs to translate the idea 3. experiment different medium in presenting the result data by the programs & algorithms 4. summarize & elaborate the co-relationship between the algorithms & the visual realization The works as total 3 pieces were all make use of programs & algorithms as major media in interpretation from digital-to-digital to digital-to-physical and finally summarize out the following:1. the sequential process/aim of such programs 2. the possibilities of the usage of such data computed by the programs 3. the future possibilities of the above researches
