本研究目的在發展偏鄉小學學童游泳蛙式教學方案,分析方案教學之成效,並了解教學歷程 中學生學習的問題與阻礙。本研究採取行動研究之精神,首先透過先導研究檢視教學方案實施的困難並加以改進;正式研究採立意取樣選取偏鄉國小6位中年級學生(5男1女)參與本研究,教學時間共計10節課,每節40分鐘,學習前進行前測,前8節採用親水體驗池進行教學,最後2節安排至25公尺游泳池教學,接著進行後測。課程實施成效以教育部游泳能力分級第三級為檢測目標,設定最遠距離為25公尺。以課室觀察、影像紀錄、教學省思、動作檢核來進行資料的蒐集,完成課程方案評估之後,進一步以另一所偏鄉學校的4位學童進行教學方案的複核研究。研究結果發現,6位中年級學童在後測的成績表現上有4位達成教育部游泳能力分級第三級檢測目標,教學目標達成率為80%。複製教學課程中,4位中年級學童有3位同學達成檢測目標,達成率為75%。經由以上的結果分析,支持本研究教學方案的成效,可以作為偏鄉學校推廣游泳教學的參考。透過親水體驗池游泳教學方案的實施,減少偏鄉小學游泳課程舟車勞頓的問題,提升學童之游泳能力及自救能力。
The purpose of this study was to develop a breaststroke swimming instruction program utilizing portable pools for elementary graders in no-pool rural schools. Taking the action research approach, the researchers conducted a pilot study to examine the process, difficulties, and the effectiveness of this swimming program to refine the program. In the formal study, six middle graders (five boys and one girl) of a rural school were purposefully sampled to participate in this swimming program. The students took 10 40-minute-per-period classes learning swimming. The swimming instruction was delivered in the portable pools for the first 8 periods, and was conducted in a 25-meter pool in the last 2 periods. Pretest and posttest were given before and after the instruction. The level 3 of swimming standard developed by Ministry of Education was used as the learning goal that students should be able to swim up to 25 meters. The researchers employed the techniques of participant observation, video recording, teaching diaries, and performance checklist to collect data. After the formal study, a validification study was conducted by implementing the swimming program with 4 students of another rural school. The effectiveness of this swimming program is evidential in that 4 out 5 students in the formal study and 3 out 4 students in the validification study were able to attain the 25-meter learning goal. It is concluded that this swimming instruction model is feasible for the no-pool rural schools to improve students swimming and selfrescuing competence.
