從形態構成研究文字的造形與圖像設計之可行性

摘要

本研究以「歸納分析法」及「文獻分析法」探討文字的造形與圖像設計的可行性，透過樣本分析，針對文字的造形形態與圖像設計之表現方式，探討字體設計的類型與視覺傳達的方式及特性，一方面對現行字體設計的造形進行形態歸納與分析，一方面對字圖組成的文字造形進行圖像傳達的探討與式樣歸納。
經過樣本的分析與圖表歸納，結果顯示文字應用在視覺識別、平面設計、平面廣告中，文字造形的形態變化，在基本形式上有點、線、面的構成形態，變化形式則有幾何形態、有機形態、偶然形態、自然形態、人工形態、具象形態、抽象形態、平面立體化的形態、文字重疊、重覆、通透、集合的形態，文字與外框結合的形態、圖地陰陽構成的形態、兩種形態以上組合的構成形態……等等。
另外圖像應用於文字造形中，探討其傳達、方式、特性與類別，結果顯示圖像的定義範圍廣大，而應用在字體設計上，圖像的方式也很多，圖像應用可用簡單的式樣設計，也可以用較精細的圖像表達。通常圖像都有某一層面上的資訊負載與傳達功能，圖像樣本的研究調查顯示，圖像應用在文字造形的差異有：色彩差異、筆劃差異、形態差異、質感差異…等等的變化。

This study discusses the possibility of scriptological and pictorial design through inductive analysis and textual analysis. By analyzing the samples, it regards the morphology of characters and the expression of pictorial design; It analyzies the types of scriptological design and the method and characteristics of visual communication. On the one hand, it analyzies and generalize the current forms of scriptological design; on the other hand, it discusses and generalize the pictorial communication done through scriptological forms of characters and images.
Through the analysis of samples and studies of the diagrams, it generalize the different forms of script logical design in visual identification, print design, and print commercials. The basic forms include dots, lines, and planes. The variation includes geometric forms, organic forms, fortuitous forms, natural forms, artificial forms, concrete forms, abstract forms, three dimensional planes, overlapping words, repeated characters, transparent forms, collective forms, the combined forms of characters and frames, and the combined forms of different forms, etc.
Moreover, it analyzies the application of images in scriptological design; it discuss its communication, method, characteristics, and types. As the result, this study shows that the definition of images is broad and its application in scriptological design varies. There are simple forms of design as well as more delicate forms of design. Generally speaking, images have certain function of information transmission and communication. This study of the samples shows that the application of images in scriptological design includes color variation, stroke variation, morphological variation, and tactile variation, etc.
