醫療用傷口照護材之全球產業規模及競爭力分析

Analysis on the Global Market Scale and Competitiveness for Medical Wound Care Products

摘要

醫療用傷口照護產品依用途可分為乾式（包括紗布、繃帶、外科膠帶等）及濕式敷材（包括水膠體、泡棉敷材、活性碳敷材、薄膜敷材等）。本研究除了瞭解全球產業規模外，另透過各國在敷料及外科膠帶之顯示性比較利益指數(RCA)分析，來瞭解目前台灣在這兩項產品上，所處的競爭強度及位置。研究結果顯示，全球2008年醫療用傷口照護產品的總需求金額為80.84億美元。其中，乾式敷材與濕式敷材市場規模分別為31.35億美元及49.13億美元，預測2013年總需求金額將達到94.94億美元。另外，台灣2009年醫療用傷口照護產品以藥用紗布的進口金額最高，出口方面則以敷料產品佔66.2%最高，為4.42億新台幣。在RCA指標方面，美國及歐盟分別為敷料及外科膠帶之產品主要領先國家。

According to the use of products of medical wound care materials, they can be divided into dry (gauze, bandage, surgical tape, and so on) and moist (hydrocolloid, foam dressing, activated charcoal dressing, transparent film dressing, and so on) dressings for wound care. Therefore, the present competition intensity and location for special dressings and suture materials in Taiwan were investigated in this study via the analysis of revealed comparative advantage index (RCA) of these two products in various countries.The results showed that the global market demand to medical wound care products was US$8.084 billion in 2008, of which the market demand for the dry and moist dressings were US$3.135 billion and US$4.913 billion, respectively. It is estimated that the total demand to medical wound care products in global market will be US$9.494 billion in 2013. In addition, the maximum import of medical wound care products were medicinal gauze in Taiwan in 2009, and the export proportion and value for the major export products (dressings) were 66.2% and NT$442 million. The results of RCA index analysis indicated that the lead countries for dressings and surgical tape were US and EU, respectively.
