Every place has some similarities with other places, but it also has its unique characteristics and sense of place. This thesis chooses the Yi-Zhong Shopping Mall in Taichung, using in-depth interviews to study how the youth develop ”a sense of place” toward the Yi-Zhong Street through the experience of place. In other words, we want to explore the feelings and experiences of the youth toward the Yi-Zhong Street, and to know youth's values and meanings toward the Yi-Zhong Shopping Mall.
