台灣大學生對外籍英語教師看法之調查研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討台灣大學生對外籍英語教師之看法。本研究將檢視本籍學生對外籍英語老師在課堂中提供語言示範、文化意識、教學方法和評量方式等看法。本研究之研究對象為台灣之大學英語系學生,其資料收集方式採用問卷調查方式,並將運用敘述統計等統計方式進行資料分析。本研究根據以上議題所討論之研究結果,提供中外籍教師在未來英語教學及相關研究作參考。

This study aimed to explore students' perceptions of native English speaking instructors of English language in the tertiary educational context in Taiwan. By means of the survey method, the researchers examined and tried to identify participants' viewpoints in regard to the language model, cultural awareness, instruction methods and evaluation techniques brought to classrooms by native speaking teachers. Statistical analyses including descriptive statistics were applied. Based on the findings, pedagogical implications and recommendation for English teaching and further research were discussed.
