The physical museum is an important place to convey knowledge for visitors. With the advents of Internet and relevant technologies, the construction of digital museum becomes a phenomena to extend experiences of museum visits. It impacts lots on education. However, there are a number of unsolved mysteries been addressed and summarized in literature as: (1) Are interactive computer games designed and offered in digital museum be appropriate for educational purposes? (2) Is there a substitute relationship between producing contents of digital museums and the CD about the museum collections? (3) Is the development of a museum web site the final goal of completing developing the digital museum? This article aims at providing relevant literature to solve the three mysteries out of a central thought as the digital museum is an application of knowledge management for educational purposes.
