The purposes of this study were to explore the applications of feedback in sport training and competition. Methods: Literature analysis method was adopted to understand the types and functions of feedback in order to let the coaches (teachers of physical education) to realize how to apply different feedbacks in training and competition. and to promote the learners' (players') sport performance. Results: According to the related literature, this study discovered nine types of feedback. Conclusion: The coaches (teachers of physical education) should know how to use different feedbacks for the learners (players) with different personality traits and skill levels in order to promote their sport performance.
