碳-高分子複合材料作為電阻式化學氣體感測器材料之研究

摘要


本研究化學感測器(Chemical Sensor)是一種體積小、質量輕且價格便宜的分析儀器,近年來日益受到產業界的重視,其應用領域包括環保、民生、工安、監測、農業、水質檢驗以及學術研究等等。本研究製備碳-高分子複合偵檢器材料來偵甲苯、甲醇飽和蒸汽,此電阻型偵檢複合材料內含7.5~17.5%重量百分比之導電性碳黑,藉功能性高分子具有特殊官能基對於化學氣體分子具有較佳可逆吸附作用,因此可藉由其複合材料電阻值之變化量來對甲苯、甲醇飽和蒸汽並且配合半導體製成技術來製作化學感測複合材料元件,並以目前歐美各國採取陣列式感測器模式及選用多種類型之高分子作為吸收偵檢之薄膜,以期獲得各類型化學氣體之偵檢之成份及圖譜資料。

An array of chemiresistive sensors at different carbon black concentrations (7~15% wt% carbon) were constructed by depositing thin films of such carbon black-polymer composite onto concentric spiral electrodes with a copper-clad laminate substrate. The sensors were carbon-polymer composite films, which swell reversibly and cause a resistance change upon exposure to a wide variety of chemical warfare agent simulants. However, the detection and discrimination capabilities of an array carbon black-polymer composite chemiresistive sensor depend on several factors, including the binding strength (polymer-analyte interaction), the vapor pressure of the analytes, and the solubility parameters of the polymers and the analytes. In this study, we demonstrate the use of these design principles, incorporated with the array response patterns, to obtain useful information on the composition of the chemical warfare agent simulants.
