不同緩釋劑對幾丁聚醣微膠囊包覆檸檬精油之界面性質及其緩釋性探討

Interfacial Properties and Controlled Release Effect of Chitosan Microcapsules Containing Lemon Oil Added Various Release Agents

摘要


本研究採用簡單凝膠法製備以幾丁聚醣為殼材包覆檸檬精油芯材之微膠囊。藉由添加1%、5%、10%三種固定比例之苯甲酸苯甲酯、麝香香精、廣藿香精油之緩釋劑來改變檸檬精油的界面性質。並測量樣本之液體黏度、表面張力和接觸角,探討添加這三種緩釋劑對幾丁聚醣微膠囊成形性和精油緩釋性的影響。結果顯示當添加不同濃度之苯甲酸苯甲酯、麝香香精、廣藿香精油之檸檬精油經幾丁聚醣微膠囊包覆後,皆具有良好的成形性。然而精油和緩釋劑混合比例不同會導致分子間的作用力改變,而使微膠囊中之檸檬精油釋放效果會有所差異。在幾丁聚醣2%條件下,檸檬精油中添加麝香香精10%時,黏度為1.64±0.02 cP、表面張力為56.12±1.68 mN/m、接觸角為22.26±1.67°,經3小時制放後,其制放率達51.25%,遠優於檸檬精油中未添加緩釋劑的制放率95.14%,呈現最佳的緩釋效果。

The present study employs simple method of coagulation by encapsulating the lemon essential oil in chitosan microsphere. Various factors are examined to investigate the interfacial property and prolonged-release of lemon essential oil encapsulated in chitosan microspheres after the addition of fixed ratio of Benzyl Benzoate, musk essential oil, and Patchouli oil: viscosity, surface tension, polarity, and contact angle. We discover that the encapsulation of lemon essential oil in chitosan microspheres has significantly enhanced its shape formation. Different mixed-ratio of essential oil to prolonged additive has thus to render different intermolecular interaction between individual molecules, and lead to such observation. The interfacial property is also another factor that distinguishes the prolonged time release among different essential oil containing capsules. The interfacial effect of microsphere on the release of lemon essential oil follows a linear trend. After the addition of 10% musk essential oil into the lemon essential oil, its viscosity, 1.64±0.02 cP ;surface tension is 56.12±1.68 mN/m; contact angle, 22.26±1.67°. An effective release of lemon essential oil is also observed after the addition of 2% chitosan.
