〈負情穠傳〉與〈杜十娘怒沈百寶箱〉的主要人物改寫研究

摘要


擬話本小說〈杜十娘怒沈百寶箱〉係以傳奇小說〈負情儂傳〉為創作底本,本文旨在從兩個層面探討馮夢龍對男女主角進行的改寫工作。首先將小說的所有出場人物分為「主要人物」與「次要人物」,次要人物再分為「陪襯人物」、「條件人物」與「背景人物」,融會功能性與心理性的分析角度,細緻地梳理出各類人物形象的演變軌跡,接著進一步歸納出主要人物改寫後呈現的三個特殊樣貌:真實感、鮮明性與獨立化。透過貼近文本的追蹤,可以發現其中運用了基本資料的增加、細部情節的描繪、敘事者聲音的介入、關鍵意象的營造與百寶箱現身的伏筆等改寫手法,並且在各種價值觀點的重組過程中,形成一種真情與傳統倫理對話、調和的道德意義框架,不僅使小說更具社會現實感,也與馮夢龍針對改寫提出的文學觀點相互呼應。

”Du the Tenth Sinks the Jewel Box in Anger” is a novel developed from the legendary novel, ”A Betrayal of Affectionate Love” This thesis aims at studying Fong Meng-Long's adaptation of the characters and the discussion examines two main aspects. First, all the characters are categorized as ”leading characters” and ”secondary characters”. The secondary characters are arranged in subgroups: ”contrast characters”, ”incidental characters” and background characters. The analysis carefully considers the evolution of the characters' figures according to their function and psychological status. More generally, the adaptation of the characters reveals three specific features of the novel: ”reality, vividness and independence”. The adaptation patterns include improved basic information, a detailed narration of the plots, the voice of the narrator, the establishment of the main images and the hints foreshadowing the jewel box. The merging process of all values develops a dialogue between true affection and traditional morality, and shapes ethical bounds. Thus, this novel is enhanced with social reality which reflects the author's literary point of view about adaptation.
