摘要

資訊科學可以從資訊的產生、資訊的組識與處理、資訊的傳輸與使用三個面向來了解。就這三個部份而論，圖畫資訊學對資訊的組織與處理、資訊的傳輸與使用花了較多的心力在探討，對資訊的產生則著墨甚少。本文即是企圖在這方面進行了解，針對人類早期幾個口語傳播的著例（如何馬史詩、新約聖經、佛教聖典、可蘭經及論語），探討這些個案由口語傳播邁向書寫傳播的過程。

Information Science could be studied from three approaches: origins of information, the organization of information, and uses of information. However, most of the practitioners and researchers in LIS have paid great attention to the organization and uses of information, not much of origins of information have been exploited yet. In this article, through the analyses of the canonization of several religious scriptures and epic, the authors have discovered the trends of oral communication toward written communication.
