Dynamic Capabilities with Market Orientation and Resource-Based Approaches: Empirical Research of the Over-the-Counter Drug (OTC) industry in Taiwan

The purpose of this article is to discuss two orientation approaches to construct dynamic capabilities-resource-based and marketing orientation-and to justify the insufficiency of the capabilities prospective to fulfill a more compete model of dynamic competitive strategy. To successfully accomplish this, with the software of LISREL, we extracted three elements of market dynamic capabilities: networking capabilities, knowledge management systematic capabilities, and informational communicational technological capabilities. In this study, we analyzed over-the-counter drugs.
