A New Indexing System for Information in Chinese Language

摘要


由於漢字結構複雜,檢字困難,致使中文資訊的輸入成為中文電腦處理上的一個瓶頸,儘管目前已發表的成果眾多,卻無一種真正達到易學易用,能提供用者百分之百準確操作的境界。今天,中文電腦化的需求日趨迫切,發展優良理想的中文資訊輸入法已為當務之急。 「金石中文資訊編碼系統」係將中文字以數碼來表示,把所有中文字以一組字碼代表,每個字有七個碼,前三個碼稱為部首碼,後四個碼是字劃碼。每個字均可依照編碼數字特性表及循一套結構嚴謹的法則,取其四個角的性質,得到其字碼;有重覆字碼者則改變字碼成為特殊字,以為錯開重覆之不便,充分做到一對一的特性,也即一個字僅有一組字碼;一組字碼也相對只代表一個字,此正是本系統的特點。本論文所研究發展出的這套系統,除了完全以一對一的特性來表達外,而且其方法簡單易學,只需明瞭其規則便可迅速地由字形上得知其字碼,可謂十分合乎理想的方法。此外,本系統全部由軟體操作,無需特殊輸入裝置,因此,在經濟的要求上亦頗為符合。

The difficulties encountered in indexing the Chinese characters, which are not alphabetically spelled, have been a bottleneck for input of information in Chinese language into a computer. There are currently several existing indexing systems available, however none is easy to learn, to use arid to provide positive accuracy. The ”Tsin-shih Chinese Indexing System” is developed to use a numbering system for indexing Chinese characters In such a system, every Chinese character will be given a 7-digit numbering code. The first 3 digits will indicate the radicals, while the subsequent 4 digits tell the number of strokes. Each code number will represent one single character only. The other characters that happen to have the same numbering code cull be classified in the special characters section. This system will be capable of allowing the users to get the numbering code easily by identifying the form of the character.
