Schwannoma is a benign, slow-growing tumor derived from Schwann cells of the nerve sheath. The occurrence of schwannoma in the intraoral regions and hypopharyngeal regions are rare. Preoperative diagnosis of schwannoma may be suggested by imaging procedures such as MRI. However, an accurate preoperative diagnosis is difficult. Hence, histopathologic examination is still confirmatory. In this report, we present two cases of schwannomas that occurred in rare extracranial locations.
