With the technological advances, industry has required diverse talents. It is important to promote academia-industry cooperation, to assist students to be able to work with adequate professional competencies. Therefore, the school curriculum is in line with industry changes, and whether they could properly prepare students for the professional functions. This study conducted a survey to understand students' the degree of understanding the domains of knowledge learned and publishing professional competencies owned. The results were hoped to provide some suggestions to Departments of Graphic Communications Studies for their future curriculum design.
