大豆油基UV上光油在印刷紙品上光品質特性之研究

The Study of Soybean Oil-Based UV Varnish in the Quality Attributes of Print coating

摘要


大豆油基UV上光油中大豆油取自天然,可無限再生,又能生物降解,因此無論從成本考量、資源利用還是從環保方面而言,大豆油基UV上光油都具有一般石油基UV上光油所無法比擬的優勢。本研究先以不同比例(50%、70%、90%)的大豆油寡聚物替代全石油基UV上光油配方中的部分石油基寡聚物,搭配稀釋單體二種,來調配六組大豆油基UV上光油,以石油基UV上光油為對照實驗組組;經相同前置塗布上光的印刷紙品,透過量化的實驗量測提出數據,以統計分析論證來探討不同組合的大豆油基UV上光油在印刷紙品UV上光與石油基UV上光油間的上光性能(光澤度、耐磨度)差異關係,並對印刷紙品UV上光前後的色彩差異(滿版濃度、階調擴增、印刷對比、色差、色域)來進行深入分析探討。透過嚴謹量化的實驗量測與綜合分析,發現以下結論:1.印刷紙品經過UV上光後,除了少部分亮部階調無顯著差異;網點面積、階調擴增、印刷 對比等均有影響。2.印刷紙品經過UV上光後,色彩差異並不顯著。3.在L值為75時,印刷紙品經由UV上光後,色域皆擴大,此對大部分印刷色彩品質是有增豔效果。在L值分別為50及25時,上光後在中間調及亮部調,色域是沒有明顯改變。4.大豆油寡聚物含量越多,UV上光油對印刷紙品的UV上光,光澤度會較差。5.大豆油基寡聚物含量越多,耐磨擦會較差。本研究符合印刷產業環保潮流,為未來印刷紙品UV上光產業的綠色上光主要趨勢。

Soybean oil-based UV varnish is made from natural. It is unlimited, renewable and biodegradable. Consequently, in terms of cost considerations, the use of resources or from an environmental point of view, the soybean oil-based UV varnish has more generally incomparable advantages than regular petroleumbased UV Varnish. In this study, part of petroleumbased oligomers in the formula of petroleum based-UV Varnish were first replaced by soybean oil oligomers with different proportions (50%, 70%, 90%) and collocate with diluted monomer (TMPTA: TPGDA = 2 : 1 & 1:2) to deploy 6 groups B to G groups of soybean oil-based UV varnish. At the same time, petroleumbased UV varnish is controlled as the experimental group (A) group. Afterwards, through same pre-coated printing papers, the data were carried out by quantitative experimental measurement, with statistical analysis and appraisal to explore the difference between the different combinations of soybean oil-based UV varnish on the printing paper and the varnishing properties of petroleumbased UV varnish (gloss, rub resistance), and the color difference before and after printing paper UV coating process (solid ink density, tone value increase, print contrast, color difference and ink trapping) for exploring and providing a reference to the industry.Through the quantitative experimental measurement and comprehensive analysis, the following results were found: 1. no significant difference in printing paper after the UV coating process, in addition to a small number of bright tone. And dot area, tone value increase and print contrast were affected. 2. After UV coating process, the color difference of the printing paper is not significant. 3. When L value is 75, the printing paper through the UV coating process the ink trapping expands. For majority of printing color quality it enhances the brightening result. Moreover, there is not much significant change in the ink trapping in the mid tones and bright tone after the varnishing process when L value is 50 and 25. 4. Soybean oil-based oligomer contents more in the UV varish, the gloss is less on the printing paper after UV varnishing process. 5. Soybean oil-based oligomer contents more in the UV varnish, the rub resistance ability will decrease. This study is in line with the trend of environmental protection of the printing industry, is the green varnishing trend in the industry of the future printing paper UV coating. This research is a new UV varnishing reference for printing industry.
