The music video industry has always been known for its special creativity. The interactive music video "Home Cookin", which recently won the Golden Melody Award in 2021, uses plenty of motion graphics, which reminds us of the importance of graphic design. Through editing and digital design, motion graphics can perform better than those on paper. Some directors combine their graphic design with music, which can make audiences enjoy the rhythm of music videos. The researcher used textual analysis to explore graphic design of Golden Melody Award best music videos, so that readers can realize the special effect of transdisciplinary design. The researcher analyzed the interactive relationship between images and music and observed how graphic design was applied to music videos. The study found that graphic design can help creators convey the theme and concept of their song. In terms of audio-visual integration, graphic design makes audiences enjoy the rhythm of music videos by matching with music beats, song structures and music genres.
