摘要

病人巫先生是83歲的老先生，於一年前第一次罹患帶狀皰疹，他就診前已經經過西醫診治，帶狀皰疹症狀略減輕，但病灶處皮膚緊繃感，按壓則痛，持續隱隱刺痛，深感不舒，治療時間長達一年又一個月，病情仍舊，治療效果不彰，常覺刺痛不舒，而且病情反反覆覆，十分困擾，後來尋求中醫診治，治療方式是以針藥併施，其中藥物以活血化瘀、清熱去濕的方法，針灸是先用毛刺再加上局部留針針刺，效果出奇的滿意，隨後幾次接受針灸治療，表示病已愈大半。

The patient, Mr. Wu, was an 85-year-old man and had herpes zoster for the first time one year ago. The symptoms seemed a little lessened after having treatment of west medicine, but he still felt taut on the affection and had pain when pressing it. The dull and lingering pain made him feel quite uncomfortable. After the 13-month treatment of west medicine, since the treatment outcome was not good and caused him feel anxious, Mr. Wu sought the traditional Chinese medical treatment instead. We adopted acupuncture in combination with medicine for promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasisy and clearing heat and removing dampness. With superficial puncture therapy and retaining needle therapy, the patient had an excellent outcome. After several acupuncture treatments, he felt he has almost recovered.
