文字色彩與文字筆劃數對中文單字識認績效的影響

摘要


本研究探討文字色彩與文字筆劃數對中文單字識認績效的影響,實驗結果顯示,文字色彩與文字筆劃數,對文字識認正確率均有顯著影響,但其交互作用的影響則不顯著。在灰色背景下,文字色彩以白色、藍綠色、與黃色最佳,其次爲綠色、藍色、與紅色,紫色爲最差。此結果顯示,位於可見光譜的兩端之色彩,其文字識認正確率較差。此外,亮度對比也可能是影響實驗結果的一個重要因素。例如,白色的文字識認正確率最佳,或許是白色的亮度對比最高所致。文字識認正確率以文字筆劃數爲三劃最佳,其次爲五劃、七劃爲最差,文字筆劃數愈多則文字識認正確率有愈低的趨勢。

This study investigated the effects of text color and number of stroke on Chinese character identification performance. Text color significantly affected identification performance, with white letters on gray background resulting in the best identification performance and purple-on-gray the worst. It seemed that the color on the extreme of color spectrum was detrimental to identification performance. Further, luminous contrast may play an important role on the results obtained. White text resulted in the best identification performance, it also had the greatest luminous contrast. Number of stroke significantly affected identification performance. Characters with less strokes were identified better than that with more strokes.
