Computer Aided VDT Workstation Design Based on the Anthropometric Data of Taiwanese Workers

摘要


本研究闡述台灣人體計測資料庫建立情形,並提出在工作站設計中,各相關尺寸之建議範圍。此資料庫中之勞工樣本涵蓋1200位男女樣本,共量測265項尺寸。爲增進資料庫使用之便利性,並發展一查詢程式以利資料之取得。以這些勞工數據爲基礎,配合站姿及坐姿的工作站設計準則,可設計出符合台灣勞工尺寸的電腦工作站。透過自行發展之電腦工作站模擬與分析軟體,整合台灣地區勞工人體計測數據、不同典型之電腦工作站與其硬體環境尺寸,搭配適當之介面,可以模擬人員與工作站之互動關係,並依據其結果做出人因工程評估,提供相關改善建議。以台灣勞工人體計測資料爲基礎之工作站設計及分析評估軟體之發展,期望能幫助對於未具備人因背景之工作站使用者及管理者,更容易評估人員與工作站之互動是否符合人因工程規範,並得到確切建議。

This study introduced the establishment of anthropometric database for Taiwanese and applied the data of Taiwanese workers to VDT workstation design. To establish this anthropometric database, the researchers conducted a series of anthropometry survey on Taiwanese workers and constructed a computerized anthropometric database. Based on the anthropometric data for workers, an ergonomic VDT workstation design guide is recommended. To enhance the usability; a query program for retrieving anthropometric data and an application program for aiding VDT workstation design were developed. The computer aided VDT workstation design system can not only assist users with correct anthropometric data in VDT workstation design, but also provide an ergonomic evaluation and improvement recommendation for the present situation. Because anthropometric data use in VDT workstation design for Taiwanese workers is not very common, the computer-aided system can be applied to every sector to facilitate VDT workstation design.
