工作/休息模式及腰背護帶對於輪椅族資料輸入作業影響之效應

The Effect of Work/Rest Pattern and Lumbar Belt on the Performance of Data Entry Task for Wheelchair Users

摘要


本研究旨在探討輪椅族在資料輸入作業中,採用不同的工作/休息模式和有無穿戴腰背護帶對此作業影響之效應。其中工作/休息模式區分爲固定式、分段固定式和自主式三種,每種模式皆工作2小時並休息8分鐘。受試者共10位輪椅族,其中包括6位男性4位女性。衡量效標則抱括主觀評比(RPE)、近點調節值(NPA)、閃光融合閾值(CFF)和作業績效。結果顯示,輪椅族在主觀評比各項(主觀喜好、心智負荷、眼睛感覺和肌肉骨骼)皆以自主式最佳,而以固定式最差。在客觀眼睛疲勞數據(CFF差異值、NPA差異值)顯示,在自主式及分段定式休息模式下,眼睛較不易疲勞。在有無穿戴腰背護帶方面,主觀評比數據中顯示穿戴腰背護帶可以減輕腰背負荷和肌肉骨骼上的疲勞。此外,在作業績效方面,以輸入字數而言,輪椅族在固定式和分段固定式休息模式較佳,而修正字數方面則無顯著差異。因爲輪椅族在以自主式之工作/休息模式時,會因爲需要思考何時該開始休息,而降低注意力,導致輸入字數的減少。

The aim of the study is to explore the effects of work/rest patterns and lumber belt on data-entry task for wheelchair users. Three different work/rest patterns, fixed, separated fixed, and self-managed rest, were checked in the study. Each pattern includes total of two hours typing and 8 minutes rest. Ten wheelchair users (6 males and 4 females) were recruited in this study. The evaluation criteria used in the study are rating of perceived exertion (RPE), near point accommodation (NPA), critical fusion frequency (CFF) and typing performance. The resu1ts show that the best rest pattern for wheelchair users would be self-managed rest in all RPE terms such as user acceptance, mood state, eyestrain, musculoskeletal discomfort and back strain. Furthermore, self-managed rest pattern would also be the best pattern in using NPA and CFF as response variables. Wheelchair users treat the lumbar belt as a helping tool that can eliminate their backpressure during typing. In addition, they typed more words in fixed and separated fixed rest patterns. They need to consider the time to begin to rest during self-managed rest pattern and then reduce their intention on typing and caused the reduction of typing words. However, there is no difference in the number of modified words for all rest patterns.
