圖誌可變標誌資訊組合對高速公路駕駛者最佳路徑決策之影響

Effect of Changeable Graphical Signs Information on Motorist Optimal Route Selection

摘要


本研究以模擬駕駛實驗探討圖誌可變標誌(Changeable Graphical Signs, CGS)之資訊組合對駕駛者路徑選擇之影響。研究自變項爲圖誌可變標誌的路網型態(三角形路網、四角形路網)與可變資訊組台(路徑顏色、路徑顏色+個別路徑時速、路徑顏色+個別路徑旅行時間、路徑顏色+整合旅行時間),依變項爲路徑選擇反應之正確率與反應時間。實驗要求受試者在觀看不同圖誌可變標誌資訊組台看板後做出決策反應動作(左轉、右轉、直走)。研究結果顯示路網型態與可變資訊對受試者的反應有顯著影響,受試者對三角形路網的反應時間較四角形路網短,反應正確率則無顯著差異。無論何種路網,受試者對單純的路徑顏色之圖誌可變標誌,其反應時間最短且反應正確率最高,而對路徑顏色+行車速度之圖誌可變標誌資訊組合的反應正確率最差,反應時間最長。

The main objective of this study was to design and undertake laboratory research to examine whether the content of traffic information displayed by the changeable graphical sign (CGS), could be readily understood by using a simple driving simulator. Eight signs that composed of different road network (triangle and tetragon) and content of changeable information (road color, road color with driving speed, road color with journey time, and road color with integrated journey time) were proposed and tested in the experiment. Participants were asked to select a route according to the destination on the optimal route choice rule. Three response modes (turn left, turn right and driving straight) were designed to match the alternative route choice for different type of CGS. Results showed that road network type and changeable information content affected subjects’ response performance significantly. Subjects had quicker response time for triangle road network than for tetragon, however, percentage of subjects’ optimal route choice for road network had no significant difference. Correct percentage and response time for road color were better than for the other information contents. Road color with driving speed had the longest response time and the least correct percentage.
