淺論樂觀心態與休閒運動之關係

Exploration on the Relationship between Positive State of Mind and the Recreational Sports

摘要


樂觀的思考傾向,幫助人們帶來正向情緒和希望。相關研究也證明樂觀的人較健康和積極的從事促進健康和提升自我的活動。本文以回顧文獻的方式,試圖瞭解樂觀理論的形成過程以及樂觀、休閒運動和健康之間的關係為何。透過休閒運動的參於使人們身心健康和提升自我效能是眾所皆知的效益。身心健康和自我效能的提升即包含了正向情緒中的樂觀,而樂觀又能影響人們參於運動的動機、期望與偏好。如此相輔相成之下而促成良性循環,進一步使人們的身、心、靈趨於盡善盡美的境界。樂觀的研究正方興未艾的發展和被運用於各領域當中,在休閒領域裏,期望幫助人們日常生活中養成休閒運動的習慣和減低壓力,在遭遇困境時才能抗拒無助與沮喪、並提升自信心與自我效能。

Optimistic thinking helps people bring about positive emotions and hope. Researches also proved that optimists tend to be healthier and actively engage in activities that promote health and self-exaltment. This article reviewed the literature, trying to understand the formation process of the optimistic theory and the relationship among positivism, recreational sports and health. Through participation in recreational sports, people gain benefits such as enhancement of the physical and mental health, and self-efficacy as well. Enhancement of physical health, mental health and self-efficacy also include the optimism underlying positive emotions, which in turn will affect people's motivation, expectations and preferences to participate sports. This will lead to a virtuous cycle, further exalting people's body, mind, and spirit toward the perfect. Researches of optimism have been on the rise and applied to a variety of fields. As for leisure research, it is hoped that optimism will help people get into the habit of daily exercises, reduce the pressure in the face of adversity, and withstand the helpless and frustrated moments, and finally enhance self-confidence and self-efficacy.
