This article is a case report regarding a 50 y/o male who suffered from generalized chronic periodontitis. Clinical examination revealed generalized gingival inflammation with bleeding on probing and loss of attachments (probing depth>5mm). He underwent non-surgical periodontal treatment, followed by dental implant therapy. At 2 years follow up, 100% of his periodontal pockets were<4mm in depth, with 89% attachment gain. Radiographic examination showed bone re-fill at surgical sites. After the treatment, the patient maintained excellent oral hygiene and regular periodontal supportive care. Overall, there was an improvement of his periodontal health, which facilitate his prosthesis treatment with a good prognosis.
