Extraction of tooth causes alveolar ridge resorption, which compromises the esthetics of anterior maxilla. Root submergence technique (RST) is a procedure that decroronates and submerges the tooth at or below the alveolar bone level, to preserve the periodontium around the defected tooth and then to prevent the aveolar bone resorption and maintain the morphology of soft tissue over it. This article presents a case that achieved the predictable esthetic outcome with this technique.
