Severe worn dentition is frequently multifactorial and making rehabilitation quite challenging. Since extensive tooth wear usually resulted in loss of anterior guidance and aggravated posterior tooth wear, such condition may compromise occlusal plane and occlusal vertical dimension (OVD). This case report presents a 67-year-old male losing multiple teeth and having severe worn dentition and fixed and removable interim restorations were used to re-establish the occlusal plane and occlusal vertical dimension (OVD). After the trial period, the patient was adapted well to his interim prostheses, which were adopted as the guide for definite restoration. The aim of the report is to show treating severe worn dentition with conventional prostheses and reviewing relevant literatures.
