The purpose of this study was to explore the moderating effect of leisure participation of the married-female teachers on life stress and physical-mental health. This study was focus on married-female teachers at elementary and junior high schools of Taichung, Changhua and Nantou cities and counties. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The descriptive statistics and hierarchical multiple regression were adopted for the data analysis. The results indicated that the highest mean score of total life stress of married-female teachers was working pressure. Secondly, leisure participation had disturbed effects between life stress and physical - mental health. The suggestion of this study was the government and the relative departments should encourage the married-female teachers to take part in the physical activities, in order to reduce the physical-mental stress of them. They also should carry out the policy of diminishing the school and class, such as decreasing the students of a single class so as to improve the teaching efficiency.
