Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of difference sleep hours on health-related fitness in Lee-Ming Institute of Technology students. 427 males and 90 females were participated in this study. Method: The test include BMI, standing long jump, sit and reach, one-minute sit-up, 800m running (female) and 1600m running (male). The investigated data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. Results: 1)37.9% students of the Lee-Ming Institute of Technology were slept less than 6 hours per day, 57.8% students had 6~8 sleep hours per day, 4.3% students were slept more than 8 sleep hours per day. 2) The BMI index in male group who slept more than 8 sleep hours was higher than the other two groups significantly (p<.05). There was no significantly difference between three groups on the other fitness parameters in male and female students. Conclusion: The sleep hours of most students in Lee-Ming Institute of Technology are 6~8 hours. The male students have overweight trend when they have longer sleep hours.
