How to design museum lighting with evoking specific emotional responses

摘要


克魯瑟夫於1941年針對「一般室內照明」環境,提出光源其兩項物理條件「色溫」及「照度」的對照曲線,該曲線圖描繪出觀賞者『愉悅感』效果的範圍區間,該曲線圖至今仍廣泛使用。目前,傳統照明光源消耗大量能量以及環保意識抬頭,新式發光二極體LED逐漸取代部分傳統照明。然而,克魯瑟夫的『愉悅感』範圍區間實驗,當時所使用光源為螢光燈管與白熾燈,並且該實驗針對「一般室內照明」環境所定義,因此本研究以克魯瑟夫當時所提出的兩項物理條件為基礎,針對博物館照明應用進行心理物理實驗,實驗光源於本研究中採用多頻譜光源設備模擬日光及白光LED,並且針對於「小型展示空間」與「大型展示空間」進行評價實驗來確認光源情感之研究特性。

In 1941, Kruithof proposed a method to achieve the "pleasing" effect based on a plot of correlated color temperature (CCT) against illumination level for indoor lighting design, where a pleasing region was identified. This study describes two experiments to verify the method using white LEDs and a light replicator simulated daylights in a large-scale museum and a small-scale laboratory, respectively. The different CCTs and illumination levels were conducted to investigate emotional responses of museum lighting.
