摘要

整合無線與有線通訊服務於用戶端是未來寬頻光纖接取網路的重要發展方向，本篇文章將報導使用極化調變器整合無線與有線服務之寬頻光纖接取網路，實驗驗證結果所提出的架構在實際的應用極具潛力。

The next generation of broadband optical access network is driving the convergence of wired and wireless services to provide end users greater convenience. In this paper, a hybrid wireline and wireless communication system for broadband access network is proposed and experimentally demonstrated based on a polarization modulator. The results demonstrate that the proposed architecture is highly promising for use in practical applications.
