裸眼式3D立體顯示器觀賞視域之研究

Study on Viewing Zone of Auto-stereoscopic 3D Displays

摘要


對於裸眼式3D立體顯示器來說,觀者位置會影響觀看影像品質,因此視域(viewing zone)的研究是非常重要的課題,雖然已有相關的文獻,但仍有許多值得深究之處。在本研究中我們利用非成像光學,提出新穎的計算方式,明確地以公式表示視差障壁型3D立體顯示器之視域大小,並且更進一步數值模擬討論對視域造成影響的因子,以及其對於視域的大小、形狀與位置所造成的影響。

For an auto-stereoscopic 3D display, the viewing image quality depends on the viewing position of the observer. Therefore, viewing zone is one of the most important issues for auto-stereoscopic 3D displays. Though there are lots of studies, deeper researches are still needed for further understanding. In this study, we propose a novel non-imaging method to evaluate the viewing zone by analytic formula and discuss the affecting factors for the viewing zone of parallax-barrier type auto-stereoscopic 3D displays.
