摘要

《遠鏡說》介紹西方傳入的伽利略望遠鏡。書中所附的光路圖、老花眼及近視的成因、光學原理如易象、斜透等意義，均與現代幾何光學的觀念大大不同。本文從眼鏡與幾何學概念的發展出發，探究《遠鏡說》論述前後兩鏡（也就是所謂的眼鏡）的光學原理與光路圖的相關問題。

The Chinese book ＂On the Telescope＂(1626) introduced Galileo's telescope, lenses and theory. Nevertheless, it's truly a great pity that the book's wrong vision perspective results in numerous misconceptions in explaining the phenomena of the refraction and the image-formation of convex and concave lens. This study explores these misconceptions and proposes the implications for teaching geometrical optics.
