從迷思概念研究的觀點探討中國古籍中的影與像

Exploring the Conception of Shadow and Image in Some Chinese Ancient Books through the Misconception Research Approach

摘要

成影和成像是日常生活中常見的現象，也是幾何光學中重要的概念。本文試從迷思概念研究的觀點來檢視中國古籍中先賢們的影像概念，先以幾個國中生的個案來闡述他們在解釋成影及成像問題時的想法，再以今釋古進一步檢視中國古籍中對成影與成像現象的文字表述，指出古今共有的迷思概念，由其相似性探討其中蘊義及對教學與科學史研究的啟示。

The phenomena of shadow and image are familiar in our daily life. But, the related geometrical optics conceptions are not easy to understand. Most of the students think that an object can emanate its image or shadow and then project it onto the screen, so as the ancient Chinese scholars. The study explores the conception of shadow and image in some Chinese ancient books by adopting the misconception research approach. This study approach about exploring the similarity of misconceptions between students and ancient scholars can enlighten us a significant viewpoint in understanding Chinese ancient books and teaching geometrical optics.
