摘要

民國時期與清末相比，科學知識大量湧入，科學名詞的統一迫在眉睫。國立編譯館作為當時唯一的官方機構，在此方面做出了巨大貢獻。文本研究得出結論：國立編譯館在科學名詞術語的統一上取得的成就，與前人打下翻譯理論實踐基礎、民國人才優勢、編審名詞程式的規範化和學術團體對其的支持密不可分。

Compared with the end of Qing dynasty, during the period of the Republic of China, the unification of scientific terms becomes our first priority as a large amount of knowledge swarmed in. As the only official institution for translation, the National Institution for Compilation and Translation made a great contribution to this area. The conclusion of my essay is that the achievement of the National Institution for Compilation and Translation in terms unification was closely related to four reasons: the foundation made by predecessors in this area; the emergence of a good supply of talents; the standardization of terms' compilation and the assistant from other scientific communities.
