英語教師運用圖書館電子資源提升學生學習成效之探討

Study on the EFL Teachers Using e-Resources of Library to Enhance Students' Achievement and Effectiveness of Learning English

摘要


基於自我學習與以資源為主的學習發展趨勢,以及應用網路資源與資訊科技融入教學的推動,景文技術學院應用英語系教師在學校圖書館的合作推動之下,積極運用圖書館有關英語學習方面之電子資源(包括全民英檢題庫系統、多益題庫系統及空中美語教學系列等)融入於課程教學之中。本研究將利用問春調查的方法,並透過次數分配、平均數、交叉分析及卡方檢定等統計分析方法,以瞭解使用過前述電子資源的學生,對英語教師運用圖書館電子資源於教學中的看法,及其實際利用這些資源的情形,並分析探討此種教學模式對學生學習英語成效的影響

Based on the developing trend of self-study and resource-based learning, in addition, the promotion of using Internet and computers in the classroom, teachers of Applied English Department and library staff in the Jin-Wen Institute of Technology working together to implement an instruction program of using e-Resources (including ”E-touch Online Learning System”, ”Testing & Education Reference Center” and ”AMC Language School Online Learning System) into classroom. This study conducts a questionnaire survey on students who used the e-Resources in libraries. Through statistical analysis (e.g. percentage, mean, cross tabulation and chi-square test), the study tried to understand the perceptions of students about the program, and explore their achievement and effectiveness of learning English via the program.
