The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between early childhood educators' self-perceived health and their quality of life. The finding of this study will provide a reference for early childhood education work and related departments. This research focuses on the educational practitioners in Taichung kindergartens. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and the SF-36 Health Survey are used in this study. Data is processed using SPSS for Windows 22.0 statistical software, with analyses including descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and regression. The study findings are as follows: 1. The self-perceived good health rate among early childhood educators in Taichung is 53.9%. 2. The total score for sleep quality is 5.96 ± 3.17, with 49.5% reporting poor sleep quality. 3. The top three aspects of the eight qualities of life are physical functioning (PF), role physical (RP), and bodily pain (BP), while vitality (VT) is the lowest. 4. There is a significant correlation (p<.05) between sleep quality and quality of life. Conclusion: Early childhood educators in Taichung have a good self-perceived health status, but there is still significant potential for improvement in their sleep quality. It is suggested that future related systems should pay more attention to the sleep quality of early childhood educators and provide relevant improvement measures such as sleep education or courses on mental and physical well-being. By reducing workplace stress and promoting health, it is expected that the health-related quality of life of early childhood educators can be enhanced.
