摘要

繼彭明敏教授之後，台灣又出現另一位國際法巨星－陳隆志教授。除了顯赫的學術著作業績之外，他也以台灣獨立理論與建國實踐的革命家地位，備受國內外各界的推崇。陳隆志教授溫文儒雅，學術地位崇高，倘依順國民黨政權，必飛黃騰達，享盡榮華富貴，但陳隆志教授為著台灣前途，為著台灣人民的尊嚴與幸福，寧願放棄功名利祿，選擇一條「我入地獄」的艱苦道－從事台灣獨立建國運動。陳隆志教授是第一位以法理專長為台灣國際地位建立堅實理論基礎法學者，是第一位將台灣問題帶進國際法領域的先驅學者，更是台灣人於聯合國奔走、為台灣獨立席次奮鬥的第一人。這使得陳隆志教授被稱為是「台獨理論大師」、「台獨理論宗師」。陳隆志教授風骨凜凜、人格高潔、博洽多聞、識見遠大、堅持理念、擇善固執，實令人仰慕欽佩。

Professor Chen Lung-chu is a super star of International Law as shining as Professor Peng Min-min is recognized. Professor Chen is not only known in academic field, also highly regarded among those pursue the state building of Taiwan independence. He could have been positioned in top office in the KMT regime if he had chosen not to rebel against the authoritarian oppression. He was dedicated to the project of Taiwan's membership in the United Nations. His numerous works on the theory building and action plan for Taiwan independence constitute the biggest asset of the land and people on this island. His determination for the well-being of Taiwan's future and his integrity as a pioneer of revolution will be surely marked in history.
