摘要

大型會展包括會議（Meeting）、獎勵旅遊（Incentive Tour）、大型會議（Conference or Convention）、展覽會或大型博覽會（Exhibition or Exposition）等，而以MICE簡稱之，現今已邁向國際化。MICE會展期間吸引大量旅客前往洽商、貿易、人員互訪、文化交流、技術合作與商討等事宜，因此吸引眾多參訪者與大批參展廠商的商業行為，同時又兼具旅遊特性的產業。MICE因包含大型商展會、大型招商會、大型國際專業性與學術性會議以及廠商辦理獎勵員工的旅遊活動，活動期間不論是服務MICE的工作人員，或是MICE的參訪與參展人員，皆帶動交通、旅遊、餐飲、購物、廣告宣傳、訊息溝通傳遞等相關產業的發展，尤其為旅遊業帶來超收益效果。因此本研究則以下列三點加以研析：（1）會展未來發展的趨勢，（2）會展與旅遊相關的結合，（3）會展有關安全措施的探討。並輔以相關案例加以介紹說明。

The MICE (an acronym for meeting, incentive tour, conference or convention, exhibition or exposition) industry has now become more significant and internationalized. The MICE contains business events, large-scale trade promotion, Gala professional and academic conferences, as well as travel activities. Both service staffs and visitors (or exhibitors) take care of the communication, tourism, catering, shopping, advertising, communication transmission and other related industries, especially for the section of tourism industry. Therefore, this study will focus on the following three important issues and analyze the circumstances of the MICE: (1) the future development trend of MICE, (2) the relationship between MICE and tourism, and (3) discussion on the security and the MICE. Some cases are supplemented.
