Pressure Sensors based on Fiber Gratings

摘要


光纖光柵的反射中心波長會受應變和溫度等參數的影響而偏移。利用此特性,在藉由特別設計的封裝結構,將壓力轉換為光纖光柵的軸向應變,為本文感測壓力的機制。文中將介紹四種不同封裝機構的光纖光柵壓力感測器,及詳細說明-我們自行設計的高靈敏度側壓式光纖光柵壓力感測器。

The reflective center wavelength of a fiber grating can be shifted by the strain and temperature changes to the fiber. Based on the characteristics and the special-designed package, the pressure will be transferred to the axial strain for the pressure detection purpose. In this paper, we will review four different types of fiber grating pressure sensors by various packaged methods. In addition, we will describe in details a high-sensitivity lateral pressure sensor we design.
