On the First Record of Erebus crepuscularis (Linnaeus, 1758) in Lanyu and Green Island (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Erebinae)

Description

The Erebus Latreille, 1810 populations of Lanyu and Green Island are confirmed to represent a new recorded species, Erebus crepuscularis (Linnaeus, 1758) in the present study. Specimens of both sexes and their genitalia are illustrated and compared with that of the widely distributed Oriental species Erebus ephesperis (Hübner, 1827).
