The traditional Chinese body culture is an age-old culture of training the body and the mind, ”The body modality of the soul” is an important characteristic of the traditional Chinese body culture. The ideal realm connotation is a free, unrestrained self-behavior that is naturally harmonious. This article used the theory of ”difference” from Derrida to analyze the pluralistic meanings and the traces of differences and postponement of the ideal realm connotation. It further examined the ideal realm connotations of the body of soul of the traditional Chinese body culture. There are not merely pluralistic meanings, but harmony and freedom, of the ideal realm connotation.
