產業類別與員工品德指標之研究

A Study of Industrial Classification and Employee Ethical Indicators

摘要


員工的品德是影響企業競爭力與營連績效的關鍵。本文探討金融業、高科技業及傳統產業之員工品德指標,並歸納出員工品德的六個構面,包含保守商業秘密、利益迴避、忠誠度、責任感、誠信和私德作爲員工品德最基本的評估參考。運用統計方法MANOVA、Scheffe多重比較法,分析因產業類別不同在員工品德的看法和品德構面要求上之差異。結果發現,金融業比其他兩個產業更認爲員工品德會影響企業競爭力和形象。在品德構面上,傳統產業比起其他兩項產業較重視保守商業秘密和忠誠度,金融業比高科技業更重視責任感,此三個產業均非常重視且沒顯著性差異的是利益迴避和誠信,而比較不受到重視且沒顯著性差異的是私德。本研究的建議是希望企業能夠針對組織本身的文化和目標,訂立嚴謹的員工行爲準則,準則內容明確定位企業的價值及所要求的道德標準,使所有員工知悉並確實遵守履行,同時建立制度評估及獎懲,以減少因爲員工品德不良而造成企業損失和社會動盪的事情。

The morality of employees is a key factor that affects the competitiveness and operation performance of an enterprise. This study discusses employee ethical indicators in financial, high-tech, and traditional industries, and comes up with six aspects of employee ethics which include business trade secret, benefit avoidance, loyalty, responsibility, honesty, and private ethics for the basic evaluation of employee ethics. During the research, certain statistical methodologies such as MANOVA and Scheffe Multiple Comparison are used to analyze the difference on perspective of employee morality and ethical requirements in different industries. The results show that employee morality in financial industry has greater influence on enterprise competitiveness and reputation than the other two industries have. Ethically, traditional industry focuses more on securing business trade secrets and loyalty than the other two industries do. Meanwhile, responsibility is given the higher values in financial industry than in high-tech industry. All three industries emphasize benefit avoidance and honesty. However, private ethics is not considered to be important in all three industries. In summary, this research suggests that enterprises should establish restrictive employee behavioral guidelines which specifically state the enterprise value and ethical requirements in order that all employees can follow accordingly. At the same time, certain systematic evaluation and reward programs should be created to reduce corporation loss and social instability caused by employee immorality.
