媒體多樣化深深影響現代生活,媒體素養之培育成為現代教育重要環節,英國媒體素養教育之特色足以成為各國推動該教育參考之用。本文的目的為探討英國媒體素養教育的措施及特色,並闡示其對臺灣媒體素養教育之啟示。茲將研究目的陳述如後:闡述英國媒體素養教育推動之緣起與發展;論述英國媒體素養教育推動之特色;分析臺灣媒體素養教育推動之現況與困境;闡釋英國媒體素養教育對臺灣媒體素養教育之啟示。茲將研究建議陳述如下:(1)臺灣宜結合不同人員推動媒體素養教育,並規劃一套由幼年至成年的媒體素養教育課程。(2)臺灣宜推動不同面向的媒體素養教育,除重視網路素養,也應顧及傳統的媒體素養。(3)臺灣的媒體素養教育宜重視認知、情意、技能與行動之面向,並有一套完善的評量系統。
Media plays an important role in society, and the public should better understand the background of media literacy. The education of media literacy in the United Kingdom is crucial to better comprehend this topic. Through the means of literature analysis, the author explores media literacy education in the United Kingdom and its implications for civic education in Taiwan. The aims of this research are: (1) Explain the development and current situation of media literacy education in the United Kingdom. (2) Discuss the defining characteristics of media literacy education in the United Kingdom. (3) Explore the current situation of media literacy education in Taiwan. (4) Interpret and analyze the media literacy education program in the United Kingdom and its implications for media literacy education in Taiwan.Based upon the results of the research undertaken in this study, the suggestions for media literacy education in Taiwan are as follows. Firstly, advancing media literacy education through promotion to more people, as well as planning the course of media literacy education for students of all ages. Secondly, designing many kinds of media literacy courses, which include internet literacy and traditional literacy. Thirdly, paying attention to the knowledge, skills and actions required in order to teach media literacy to a higher degree; moreover, devising a perfect test system for students.
