This article is to study the nursing process of pituitary tumor patient feeling anxiety in pre-surgery and contracting diabetes insipidus in post-surgery. The nursing period was from 4/16 to 4/27 in 2006. By using observation and direct nursing, performed with empathy, companion, and care to establish a good nursingpatient relationship. Roy's Adaptation Model was as used structure of nursing concepts to evaluate the patient and determine the nursing problems. This showed the condition of anxiety, potential danger of falls, and the lack of diabetes insipidus knowledge. According to the behavior and root causes influencing the patient, proper nursing process was applied to this case. This improved the patient's mental and physical states, and helped take care of diabetes insipidus after returning home. This nursing experience can be a reference for nursing staff in the future clinical nursing cases.
